In this varied job, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the storage and issue of aircraft parts, maintenance tools and the storage of ‘dangerous goods’.

 

ABOUT THE JOB

 

 

  • In charge of receiving and putting away all goods in the warehouse

  • Entering all goods into the system, taking into account the applicable procedures (checking goods for damage, checking certificates, …)

  • Following up on requests from colleagues (removing parts from the warehouse and making the necessary adjustments in the system)

  • Requesting airport access for external suppliers and accompanying these suppliers to the workshop.

  • Perform stock checks on a regular basis.

  • You act as backup for the Shipping Clerck when he is not present for preparing goods for transport and preparing transport documents (shipping labels, export documents, etc…).

  • Report findings on receipt or outbound shipment of components to the Stores Coordinator.

 

 

ABOUT YOU

 

 

  • You hold a high school diploma, for example in logistics or a technical field.

  • Preferably you have a first experience in a logistics function within an aviation environment.

  • As a logistics employee, you can work autonomously in a dynamic team where everyone can rely on each other.

  • In our rapidly changing work environment, you are able to set your priorities and perform the assigned tasks independently, even without supervision.

  • Work is done in 3 shifts (early/late/night), as well as on weekends and holidays. This doesn’t scare you, we can count on your flexibility.

  • You are in possession of a drivers license B and own transportation in order to work in our flexible schedule.

  • You are fluent in English (oral and written for processing and sending e-mails). A good knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.

  • Knowledge of AMOS software is a plus but not a requirement.
