  • As a Trainee Solicitor, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Legal Department in various aspects of commercial law and related legal matters. You will undergo a period of recognised training in line with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) requirements, working under the guidance of experienced legal professionals at TUI.
  • Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on commercial law topics, providing valuable insights to the legal team.
  • Contract Review: Assist in the review and drafting of contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Dispute Resolution: Gain exposure to dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation, as required.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Support in ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Advisory Support: Assist in providing legal advice to various departments within TUI, helping them understand the legal implications of their actions.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records, documents, and files, ensuring they are organized and readily accessible.
  • Training and Development: Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance your knowledge of commercial law and legal practice.




  • A minimum of an Upper Second Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and have completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) within an appropriately recent time frame.
  • Strong academic record and a genuine passion for commercial law and the travel industry.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to the dynamic legal landscape within the travel industry.
