We are seeking a talented and passionate SEM Manager to join our dynamic performance marketing team at TUI Nordics. In this role, you will play a crucial role in leading our SEM efforts across the region. Your responsibilities will include developing, overseeing, and optimizing paid search campaigns, managing a team of SEM specialists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective digital marketing strategies. This is a temporary position until March 2025.


You will work in a fast paced and dynamic team based in Stockholm. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • SEM Strategy Development: Devise comprehensive SEM strategies aligned with business goals for the Nordic region. Collaborate with the performance marketing team to integrate SEM initiatives into broader digital marketing strategies. Evaluate new partners, new technologies (incl eg AI powered tools and products) and business proposals
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and inspire a team of SEM specialists, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of paid search campaigns across Nordic countries. Ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic goals
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns. Communicate SEM strategies, results, and recommendations to internal stakeholders. Maintain Nordic vendor relationships with core media owners such as Google, Bing, Smartly
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and maximize ROI. Implement A/B testing and continuous improvement strategies. Evaluate and implement digital marketing tools and tech system (trading, buying, feeds and analytics)



  • Bachelor Degree in Digital marketing, Business school or relevant subjects
  • + 5 years of merited experience of SEM working with major accounts, preferably with recent Industry Certification (Google Ads/Bing Ads certification)
  • Experience with martech (feed management, Google Marketing Platform) 
  • Onsite analysis and proficiency using Google Analytics
  • Deep understanding of rule based and data driven Attribution 
  • Hands on experience of A/B-testing
  • High skills in digital visualisation
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Fluency in English, Knowledge in a Nordic Language is considered a merit
  • Excellent communication and writing skills 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Ability to organize and manage detailed work
