TUI Group is a global leading tourism group. As a member of the FTSE 250 and with a listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, having a strong and experienced Investor Relations team is imperative. The Investor Relations team, based in the UK and Hannover, is responsible for communicating the TUI investment case to the capital markets, the programme of which is central to the objectives of the CEO and CFO. 

This is a key finance function with core analysis, accounting skills and governance knowledge a necessary requirement. As a member of this high-profile team, you will contribute significantly to the understanding of TUI Group’s equity story by the investor and analyst community. This is a unique and diverse role for someone looking to blend their existing investor relations, company secretariat or capital markets experience. You will be someone who enjoys the fast pace and challenge of working for a large international FTSE business and will be delivery focussed. The role will suit someone who has varied experience and is seeking to advance their interest and knowledge in ESG and becoming the team ESG lead, with a specialism in corporate governance. 

 

How you will make an impact as Investors Relation Manager
There are many ways for you to get involved:  

 

  • Supporting the preparation of content for external results announcements 
  • Becoming key contact for Board Office (German equivalent of Co Sec), supporting the IR team in preparing necessary publications according to German and UK company law as well as listing rules
  • Help to further integrate our ‘Better Holidays, Better World’ ESG strategy into investor communications, with scope to become team ESG lead
  • Critically assess analyst research and feeding back to analysts as appropriate
  • Help to respond to incoming queries from investors and analysts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in investor/analyst calls & meetings, roadshows and conferences with a view to lead and conduct these independently in time
  • Monitor and analyse relevant news flow on TUI, update IR Team as relevant
  • Building a strong working relationship across Group functions (Board Office, Legal, Sustainability, Group Finance, Strategy, M&A, Corporate Comms, etc.) 
  • Ad-hoc analysis and project work as required

 

What you will bring as Investors Relation Manager
There is more than one way to the perfect fit – here are some of the ideal things: 

 

  • You will have worked in a global, complex, fast-paced environment, be able to understand the key financial drivers of a business and will have had exposure to a broad range of business challenges
  • You will be highly motivated, delivery focussed and a strong team player
  • Knowledge of the German language (spoken and written to native fluency) is essential for this role
  • Experience of working within or closely alongside Investor Relations or Company Secretariat is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of financials, accounting and corporate governance matters is required – accounting qualifications (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), corporate governance (ICSA) or CFA or relevant background in financial planning & analysis is preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and good project management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with self-confidence to be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with the most senior management team in the company
  • Flexibility to travel for meetings within the UK (London) and overseas
