Joining the TUI Destination Experiences Port Operations Team as Executive, you will ensure an excellent service to our cruise line clients by monitoring the quality of service offered and act as the escalation point for Cruise Lines & Port Authorities for all operations matters in all the ports of Spain, Portugal & Gibraltar. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
There are many ways for you to get involved: 

 

  • A point of contact for cruise lines, ships, ports, sub-agents for all Port Operations related matters
  • Docking reservations and modifications through all subagents and SOLPORT
  • Preparation of the official documentation needed for the Cruise lines in order to obtain discounts, etc.
  • Ensure current legislation regarding all port-related matters are communicated in a timely manner to all clients and operational teams (i.e. security/immigration)
  • Attention, settlement and registration of incidents
  • Attention and follow up of incidences succeed in the ports where we use sub-agencies
  • To control, open and follow up logistics files within the area
  • To review existing setup and contracts to maximize revenue opportunities
  • To develop existing operations and invoicing tools to ensure maximum potential is used to facilitate the operations & administrative workload

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Excellent knowledge of the English and Spanish language both written and oral 
  • Good office administration and organizational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Orientation to results and customer-obsessed
  • Pro-activeness and natural problem solver
  • Ability to analyse and resolve problems
  • Available to travel if required
  • Experience in ship operations will be a plus
  • The position will be subject to the right to work in the country, specifically in the Barcelona Office
