As Head of HR you will play a critical role in developing, leading, and delivering innovative and engaging people and organisational solutions across the UK and our markets within Europe.  




  • You will partner Board Director(s) and play a leading role in developing and delivering HR solutions that shape the organisation both in the UK and our wider European markets.  You will use your well-developed organisation design skills to create an agile organisation and drive a culture that supports the ongoing improvement of product, process and service. 
  • You will lead the development of leaders who inspire colleagues to drive the business forward, putting customers at the heart of everything they do and who think broadly and innovatively. You’ll build engaging talent development programmes, and be passionate about creating a culture where colleagues can bring their best selves to work; a focus on wellbeing and D&I naturally underpins your people solutions.
  • Newly created global matrix teams need support in developing their ways of working.  We are on a fast-paced major transformation journey.  You’ll be central to establishing the appropriate people strategies to deliver operational efficiencies and OD outcomes working with other local country HR teams to ensure programmes of activity are in line with local legislation.
  • You’ll manage a team of HRBP’s who are responsible for the delivery of core People Plan activity, and work alongside your HR community within a shared services and CofE model, ensuring we get the maximum benefit from shared expertise balanced with the unique requirements of each part of the business.



  • A proven senior leader at with extensive change and transformation experience
  • A proven HR background of leading and driving organisational change within a complex matrix organisation
  • A solid influencer, communicator with strong facilitation/presentation skills who is credible and influential up to Board level
  • Good range of experience in all aspects of HR/employee lifecycle activity, ideally with in-depth experience in at least one specialist area (ER, Comms, Reward, Training etc.)
  • OD skills and business knowledge to enable an efficient approach and to be able to manage the change in a practical way
  • Strategy understanding, experience in working with executive-level sponsors/partners to deliver commercial outcomes
  • Experience in managing and coordinating a virtual team within a global matrix environment
