As a Holiday Advisor you will deliver a high quality sales & service to both Travel Agents’ and direct Customers prior to holiday departure by contact channel of their choice; delivering sales, through service, of our products to enhance the holiday experience of all of our customers.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Provide support to travel agents & direct/web customers, making & amending bookings, and answering general queries relating to our programme.
- Upselling ancillaries associated with the holiday and take/chase payments, where necessary.
- Ability to resolve customer queries/complaints quickly, professionally and confidently, at all times aiming for a one-call resolution, in as much as it is possible.
- Confident in multi-tasking and be able to fulfil all functional aspects of the Sales & Distribution division.
- Work in conjunction with colleagues from relevant departments (in Ireland, the UK, resort and off-shore), to support other areas of the business in a variety of ways and to take on project work, as and when required.
- Travel Agent or Call Centre experience will be highly regarded
- Experience of working in a results-driven environment to achieve stretching personal targets
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Sales skills desirable
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Amadeus Experience
- PC Literate
- Able to work flexible hours across the call centre opening hours 9-6pm including weekends on an annualised hour’s basis
