Following the transition to the Global Technology Domain structure, this role sits within the Northern Region Delivery Team.  You will be responsible for the delivery of all Northern Region Market specific change initiatives (Retail and Marella/River Cruise) , as well as the implementation and transition into live service of technology change delivered by Global Technology Domains into the Northern Region Business.

ABOUT THE JOB:

 

Delivery

Act as the market implementation lead for medium/large technology change delivered by the Global Technology Domains.

Responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of Northern Region Market Specific change initiatives.

Manage a demand pipeline of planned and unplanned Northern Region business requests, ensuring clear alignment and management of expectations. 

Maintain a single view of technology change impacting Northern Region and feeding this into the Northern Region Change Board.

Provide the delivery interface for IT and the Northern Region Business

Develop and maintain iterative plans (budget, resource, OKR’s) to give visibility of progress to change sponsors

Management of in house and third-party resource both on and offshore.

Ensure that change risks are constantly managed and communicated.

Identify and manage issues ensuring appropriate escalation to product/business owners.

Clearly and regularly communicate change progress and budget forecasts to sponsors, owners and IT management.

 

Team Management

Line management responsibility for the regional delivery team consisting of Business Analyst and IT Test Manager.

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Measurable track record of successfully leading end to end delivery of medium/large sized technology change, which span multiple technology domains and business areas.
  • Has a high degree of experience in building complex delivery plans, understanding the environment, with the ability to prioritise the most important or highest value tasks.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage complex internal and external dependencies.
  • Able to negotiate and resolve conflicts within the team or diverse senior stakeholders.
  • Able to build highly motivated empowered teams, formed from a matrix environment.
  • Able to confidently engage with and give confidence to all level of stakeholders across technology and business
  • Has high degree of experience of leading teams working across multiple delivery methodologies (Agile Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Strong practical experience delivering change initiatives using multiple delivery toolsets (Confluence, Jira, MS Project).
  • High degree of experience of presenting to all levels including senior stakeholders across technology and business areas.
  • Has a high degree of Travel Technology and Digital expertise/knowledge.
  • Is highly adaptable and resilient.
