The core of our focus is on our multi-award winning mobile apps, which have seen millions of downloads and are used by hundreds of thousands of our customers every month.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

Develop the section product vision & roadmap
Work closely with business stakeholders and relevant mobility lead roles to develop, prioritise and agree the detailed product roadmap for a defined area of the TUI app over the next 12 months, and its wider vision over the next three years.

 

Accountable for the section Product backlog
Work closely with the Product Owner and mobility leads to develop, refine, and prioritise the product backlog. 

 

Manage Delivery of New Product Features
Support Product Owner with feature delivery through your scrum team. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop best-in-class user journeys & designs.

 

Lead & Manage section Product Owners
Provide task management for your team Product Owner. Co-ordinate team activity, regularly review activity and ensure all Stories and assets are produced to a high standard.  Support team members develop their skills; coach and/or give expert guidance as appropriate. 

 

Understand & Drive KPI Perofmrance
Take ownership of relevant KPIs ensuring all developments are aligned to drive performance and have clear metrics and targets. Develop a roadmap and backlog in conjunction with the Product Owner to address under-performing metrics.

 

Engage with business owners, Subject Matter Experts & Stakeholders effectively
Liaise with key stakeholders in development and business areas, building strong working relations.  Produce regular updates on development progress, KPI performance, and comms for governance meetings.

 

Developer & Apply Customer Insight 
Understand TUI’s customer segments and behaviors.  Use this insight to inform and influence plans and development around KPIs and user experience.

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • Proven and significant experience in product, digital or e-commerce positions
  • Experience working using agile methodologies in product development 
  • Experience working with and developing consumer-facing digital technologies
  • Ideally, experience managing a small team and developing team-members 
  • Exceptional product management skills, owning Product Roadmap for owned product portfolio which is aligned with strategic goals and delivers the required KPIs
  • Strong customer focus; championing the needs of our customers travelling with us in every feature
  • Strong stakeholder engagement; quick at developing trusted working relationships across business boundaries
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to analyse and communicate technical concepts to create practical solutions and influence decisions
