ABOUT THE JOB

Produce board-level reporting & Stategic insights for the app

  • Dashboards and adhoc insight analysis will be required by market boards, the group board and other stakeholders.  You will co-ordinate the work to develop and deliver these and ensure the timely production of standard reports.

Lead transformational, strategic projects for App Analytics

  • You will have the opportunity to drive your own analytics projects from start to finish. You will define the app push strategy, measure app customer life-time value, cross-platform engagement, app ancillary uptake, in-destination usage and app CPA.

Embed analytics into cross-functional teams

  • App Analytics is a self-standing function where each team member is a specialist in their own area of expertise. You will start embedding analytics into cross-functional teams, move from specialist model into new end-to-end model, transform analytics and integrate the team within agile delivery teams.

Target setting and performance management

  • Deliver commercial insight to inform growth targets, a critical enabler to accelerate to 3bn annual sales, delivering 20% of total sales in a few years’ time, with the app being used by 75% of our customers.

Develop a proactive approach for insight generation

  • In order to be truly insights-led, we need to move from a reactive to a proactive insight approach, where the right insights reach the right people without them even asking for or thinking about them. You will reserve time for proactive insight creation by exploring data, testing hypotheses, diving deeper, considering more data sources, broadening the scope to contextualize and improve analysis presenting back to senior managers.

Forge a data driven culture in the business

  • A critical part of this role is influencing and fostering a more data-driven approach around TUI and making sure Analytics is used for better decision-making.  You will embed the Analytics function across feature teams and cut Analytics turnaround times by providing product owners and developers with intuitive and interactive self-service reporting.

Line manage the Mobility Analysts and support career development

  • The analytics team for the app is based both in London and in Porto with our development partner. Provide line management support for the team, define scope of work, assign goals, manage learning curve, support career development and lead by example.
