Facts about the country

Ask the person on the street about Norway and they will probably come up with Vikings and fjords. Naturally, there is much more to this fascinating country, and the wonder of its natural world cannot be over-exaggerated. With a jagged coastline, monumental glaciers and a mountainous interior, the landscape frequently takes visitors breath away. The spectacular Northern Lights draw hordes of tourists each year, and so does the unique “Midnight Sun” that never sets.

They say Norwegians are born with skis on their feet, a notion upheld by the fact that it is not uncommon for Norwegians to go cross country skiing before work on a Tuesday. The country often ranks as one of the happiest countries in the world, interestingly the dark and gloomy tunes of heavy black metal music is their biggest cultural export.

Meanwhile, the hip city of Oslo continues to draw tourists who come to enjoy culture, art and a unique fjord-side location.

The operations in TUI Norway include a Digital Sales and Marketing Team, Communications, Finance, HR, Group Sales and OTA manager.

In addition to tourism-related roles, there is also a need for people across all the business functions, including IT professionals.

Fun Fact: Norway is ranked as one of the safest, most peaceful and richest countries in the world. And did you know that the Colonel-in-Chief of the Norwegian King’s Guard, Sir Nils Olav, happens to be a King Penguin?
