If you’re keen to oversee a digitally-led, tactical, integrated copywriting team spanning core marketing disciplines in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you. We’re searching for an innovative, fast-thinking and creative multi-channel editor to lead and manage a small in-house creative team as we continually strive to be integrated marketing experts, whilst still inspiring customers to book with TUI. For this role, you’ll need to ensure TUI UK’s customer-facing editorial marketing and lifestyle requirements are delivered on time and to budget and aligned to our brand strategy. You’ll be relied on to lead the brainstorming of marketing and lifestyle copy ideas for both above-the-line campaigns and below-the-line always-on marketing communications as you motivate and lead your team, juggling consistent tone of voice across multiple channels. A thorough understanding of current SEO to delivering stronger long-tail search optimization is core
to this role. You’ll be ultra-organised and used to turning around original copywriting fast, and with genuine flair. You’ll be constantly plugged into what’s hot in the world of travel, world events and culture and aware of industry developments and with one eye on the competition. 

You’ll need an eye for detail as you proof your team’s copy, ensuring all lifestyle and marketing copywriting adheres to brand tone of voice and style guidelines, and is optimised in alignment with our SEO requirements. You’ll also need to be skilled at establishing strategic, collaborative relationships with our digital and marketing teams, especially our Social Marketing, Online Merchandising, ECRM and Digital Marketing teams, as you drive consistency and accuracy and alignment across all channels, even when a fast-paced turnaround is required.

Core to this role is maintaining the trajectory of our SEO Content Platform, utilising your SEO knowledge, using trends to understand when and what the customer is searching for, creating a steady stream of organic traffic into the site.



  • A strategically effective, digital-first marketing editor who can manage and motivate a dynamic small copywriting team spanning core marketing disciplines
  • A manager who can define their team’s day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month work plans
  • An experienced editor who can apply a journalist’s expertise to drive a customer-led agenda regarding the definition of inspirational lifestyle requirements manage and shape strategy, the editorial calendar, tent pole innovation and SEO content opportunities.
  • A team player who can work across multiple platforms and projects and with other departments to implement strategic thinking and generate commercial success to aid both inspiration and conversion. 
  • Proactive self-starter who can assist the Editorial Manager to develop cutting-edge and breakthrough editorial ideas and content across digital and offline media
  • Able to produce lifestyle features on time and to budget to post on our websites, blogs, apps and our brochures and inflight magazines.
  • An expert at ensuring a consistent and seamless tone of voice experience throughout the customer journey across all marketing copy touch points
  • Great instincts when required to reflect customer/audience needs to drive engagement
  • An eagle-eyed editor who is obsessed about tone of voice, grammar and good English
  • A brand champion who can help create, maintain and communicate business tone of voice and style guides across the business
  • Natural organiser who can assist the Editorial Manager to implement new and efficient editorial processes, including documentation, training and roll out
  • A natural collaborator with project management skills who can galvanize a cross-discipline team to react like an agency, to complete editorially-influenced creative executions responding to a campaign brief
