Well, why not join our Trading team here at TUI to find out how it works in the world of travel!  We are looking for Commercial Analysts (know internally as Trading Executives) who get a buzz out of spotting patterns and love working with data to ensure a proactive approach to problem-solving and are commercially driven.  You will have accountability for the revenue management of your own range of destinations, striving to optimise sales and profitability ensuring the right price is available to our customers at the right time.
 
We will ensure that you have first-class training to succeed in the role and work through a framework to support your long-term career goals.

The role is based in Luton, but at TUI we believe work is something you do not somewhere you go. We believe in offering as much flexibility to the individual on whether they work from an office or elsewhere. Of course, there may be occasions when we need you in the office for business reasons, but whenever reasonable we allow you to make the choice.  

 

ABOUT THE JOB
 

  • Analysing data reports to identify trends in your destinations
  • Making informed pricing suggestions to senior colleagues
  • Loads of collaboration with key stakeholders from other departments to review sales activities
  • Reviewing non-pricing factors that impact the sale trends and the performance of your resort areas
  • Supporting the Swansea contact centre to help find customer resolutions
  • Getting involved in trading projects and tasks that will impact the profitability and success of the business
  • Keeping a close eye on the latest market trends and checking out competitor pricing activities

  • Numerate and analytical 
  • Structured, focused and enthusiastic to learn
  • Proactive, curious and conscientious
  • Confident and able to work under pressure
  • Seeks to understand others’ perspectives
  • Proficient user of the MS office suite, especially Excel
