Joining the Global HR Reporting and People Analytics Team as an HR Data Engineer you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures that support the HR Function needs. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT professionals, and HR experts, to design and implement data solutions to enable TUI to make informed business decisions.

 
ABOUT THE JOB

  • Developing and maintaining the data architecture in SAP BW4HANA
  • Managing the pipeline (collection, storage, access), engineering (cleansing, feature creation/selection), and understanding (documentation, exploration) of data
  • Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and technical business requirements
  • Building and maintaining architectures for optimal ETL from a wide variety of data sources using SAP BW4HANA, SQL big data technologies, flat files, and APIs
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by performing data profiling, cleansing, and validation
  • Working with IT, data specialists, and other relevant team members to ensure that requested data and related process changes are scalable, secure, and compliant with company policies and regulations
  • Following and maintaining operational and control procedures as a part of an agile team
  • Collaborating with the business and HR experts to identify business requirements and translating them into data-driven solutions
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, and apply them to our business needs.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Solid professional experience delivering data solutions
  • Strong HANA (Cloud Environment) development background with experience in SAP BW4HANA
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors business content
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Tableau data visualization tool
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical, conceptual, and implementation skills
  • Passion for learning without fear of failure in a passionate and agile team
  • Technical skills in ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) modeling are a plus
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Python or Airflow is a plus
  • Experience with AWS cloud services is a plus
