About You
B737
- Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL license
- Valid B737 type rating with a completed line check
- Valid Medical Class 1 Certificate
- A valid EU passport
- Fluent in English (ELP 5 minimum); proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Able to operate out of our main base Schiphol
B787
- You have an unrestricted and valid EASA (frozen) ATPL license and are approved for LVO operations CAT III
- Preferably a valid B787 type rating; if you don’t have a B787 type rating, you need to possess another valid Boeing type rating with a completed line check
- Valid Medical class 1 certificate
- A valid EU passport
- Fluent in English (ELP 5 minimum); proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Able to operate out of our main base Schiphol

Our Selection Process
- Step 1: CV screening
- Step 2: Online technical questionnaire
- Step 3: Selection Day 1: HR interview & simulator assessment at CAE Schiphol
- Step 4: Selection Day 2: Psychological assessment & alcohol- and drug test
We schedule selection day 1 and 2 within the same week.

B737 Pilot Vacancy
No; if you do not hold a valid type rating for the B737, you cannot apply for our ‘Type rated First Officer B737’ position.
No; TUI fly Netherlands does not offer direct captain entry positions.
B787 Pilot Vacancy
Yes, if you don’t have a B787 type rating, we will offer the type rating for you. It is however mandatory to already hold another valid Boeing type rating with a completed line check.
No, we will cover the training cost entirely.
You will receive a permanent contract at TUI fly Netherlands. However, in addition to the contract, pilots who start the B787 type rating, are required to sign a 4-year bond, committing to a minimum of 4 years of service within our airline.
We will provide accommodation during the B787 type rating training when it takes place outside the Netherlands. Accommodation within the Netherlands is not included. Pilots are responsible for arranging their own accommodation during training conducted within the country.
