TUI’s commitment to development has helped me grow year after year. I recently completed a composite repair course, which means I can now carry out structural repairs on our 787s - it’s incredibly rewarding. The flexibility here is a big plus too. Our summer shift pattern gives us shorter hours, so there’s time to properly unwind. And the colleague concession scheme? A great bonus - discounted holidays never hurt!

The TUI Culture
We’re not here to only follow the map. We’re here to redraw it. This is how we work, lead, and grow: with purpose, personality, and just enough edge to keep things interesting - detours and all.
Trusted
We say what we mean, do what we promise, and own it when things don’t go our way. We show up - for our people, partners, and customers. Every. Single. Time.
Unique
We’re unapologetically ourselves. We celebrate diverse perspectives, play to our strengths, and bring our full selves to work. Cookie-cutter? Not our style.

We bring the spark. From fresh ideas to everyday improvements, we go the extra mile - with curiosity, pride, and a smile that says, “Let’s TUI it.”

ABOUT THE JOB
TUI Group is the world's number one integrated tourism business and as an Asset Lifecycle Engineer within our Technical Aircraft Asset Management function, you'll optimise lifecycle costs for all aircraft in TUI Aviation by managing the day-to-day asset lifecycle activities and driving continuous optimization of aircraft asset performance, value and cost throughout the lifecycle.
- Working closely with the Airframe Asset Manager, you'll review maintenance activities on airframes, landing gears, and engines to identify warranty claims and negotiate commercial support from suppliers and OEMs.
- You'll organise warranty claim submissions through OEM portals, implement end-to-end tracking across E&M departments and take responsibility for monthly KPIs and management information to ensure contractually allowable claims are made before periods expire.
- Liaising between E&M, Supplier Management and Procurement on damage claims is key, as you'll coordinate engineering input and report on costs claimed and open damages.
- The role involves maintaining our Aircraft Asset information database to ensure it remains a single source of truth for all aircraft, landing gear and engine assets, whilst administering aircraft lease agreements into our Contract Management System.
- Mapping, documenting and continuously improving administrative and operational processes will enhance efficiency and transparency across the wider airframe lifecycle management team.
- Supporting the administration of technical and financial asset roadmaps, you'll maintain records, monitor lifecycle milestones and ensure complete collection of asset lifecycle cost data to improve utilisation and performance.
ABOUT YOU
- You'll bring a hands-on mentality with a continuous improvement mindset, thriving in a rapidly changing environment whilst prioritising effectively.
- Being eager to learn and driven to self-seek solutions comes naturally to you, alongside a structured and coordinated approach with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Planning and organising projects whilst coordinating between different parties is something you excel at.
- You're a strong communicator with proven ability to influence, develop industry networks and gain stakeholder commitment both internally and externally.
- Educated to degree level (Bachelor)
- Proven experience as an analytical thinker who can absorb large amounts of information quickly is essential.
- The role requires strong business English, both spoken and written.
- Some international travel may be involved.
At TUI, safety is our top priority. We conduct thorough background checks on all employees who join our Airline. Rest assured; we’ll guide you on the necessary information you need to provide at each stage.
Please note that if you are applying for a role in the UK, you must ensure you can provide a full 5 years referencing, plus a criminal record check for all countries you’ve resided in for more than 6 months in the past 5 years (some costs may apply).
