ABOUT THE JOB

• This role includes On-Call and Emergency Response (ERP) duties, based at our site in Zaventem, Belgium.
• Manage and implement safe, compliant, efficient, consistent, and customer-focused Ground Operations processes and activities for all airports in the region.
• Responsible for daily management of relationships with external suppliers, airport authorities, and government agencies at airports.
• Perform performance management of GO activities/daily operations at airports (and 3rd parties).
• Manage operational SLAs and KPIs for external suppliers through daily checks and regular quality assessments to train suppliers and identify opportunities for change and improvement.
• Ensure suppliers deliver consistent and common TUI Ground Operations services and procedures to all relevant internal departments (pilots, cabin crew, local operations, 24/7 customer care, tour operators).
• Evaluate all Ground Operations activities to ensure compliance with authority requirements.
• Contribute ideas and be involved in the delivery of new product initiatives and concepts at airports, supporting consistent customer experience and service delivery as defined by the airline's local customer experience teams.
• Participate in the implementation of 'digitalized' Ground Operations services at airports.
• If needed, you might be asked to lead the team. 

ABOUT YOU

• Extensive experience in aviation ground operations.
• Experience with and knowledge of cargo operations, ideally within an aviation environment.
• Enjoy working with a broad network of people, including colleagues, suppliers, and providers.
• Project management experience, preferably in a relevant environment.
• Experience in external supplier management, focused on achieving a pleasant and productive collaboration with the ability to strive for continuous improvement.
• Punctual and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Conduct audits and check processes for regulatory compliance, working to resolve any violations.
• Essential for this role is good knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
• Experience with certification of ground handling procedures and regulations is a nice plus.
• Willing to travel for work.
