Destination Services

To keep our fleet running like a well-oiled machine we need a specialist crew of highly-trained mariners dedicated to getting us from a-to-b safely and securely. Our Marine and Technical team are responsible for ensuring our ships meet international laws and regulations, for ensuring the integrity of the vessel and all the onboard systems, and for delivering an efficient and cost-effective operation.

Entertainment

Travel the world and do what you love. We pride ourselves on the high-calibre entertainment programme we host onboard. Our entertainment teams work together to create a fun and fast-paced package of activities, quizzes, game shows and competitions. In our theatres, we put on a variety of bespoke full-production performances ranging from West End-style shows to band-backed celebrations of legendary performers. We’re looking for five-star entertainers, AV specialists and production professionals to join our team onboard Marella Cruises or for TUI and Hapag Lloyd Cruises.

Head Office

We aim to be the friendliest crew at sea and that means we champion our guests, putting them at the heart of everything we do. Want to add your smile to our family? Well, whether your skills are in customer service, food and beverage, administration, or housekeeping, we have an opportunity to suit most aspiring Marella teammates.

Hotel Ops

Across our Marella Cruise ships, you’ll find spas and beauty salons onboard our ships. Did we mention our ships are perfect for a bit of retail therapy? So, you might work in one of our shops, helping customers find *that* special missing piece. We’re all about capturing the moment and that’s why we offer an onboard photography service. Our photographers are there to catch it all on camera – from candid in-the-moment pictures to studio shoots – with high-quality photographs that our guests can take home and cherish forever.

Marine Technical

Fancy exploring the world and getting paid for it? Yes? Join our onboard Destination Services team. Our Destination Services team onboard Marella Cruises are our onboard experts, helping to create unforgettable experiences for our customers. From organising activities and tours, to advising on the best places to go independently, our team ensure our customers make the most of their precious time ashore in the culture-packed and diverse destinations we visit. The main two roles we offer are our Destination Services Advisors and our Bike Guides.

We need a fully-crewed team on shore, as well as at sea. An office-based career with Cruises is an ocean away from dull, we work on everyone’s favourite moment… their holiday. So we need a diverse mix of skills, interests and talent to help make the cruise holiday dreams a reality.

Careers in River Cruise

From the Rhine to the Danube, we sail along some of Europe’s longest and most beautiful rivers, visiting the crème de la crème of the continent. From winter 2024, we’ll also be adding Egypt’s mighty Nile to our line up and in summer 2025 we’ll be adding our fifth ship to the fleet when we set sail along the Douro in Portugal. Our Hotel Operations team help us deliver truly memorable holiday experiences for our customers. We’re proud of the friendly intimate atmosphere we’ve created onboard that makes our customers want to return again and again. No matter if you work in the galley, front desk, or in our restaurants and bars, onboard you're part of one brilliant team.

NAUTICAL & TECHNICAL

Join our esteemed team in various nautical and technical roles on our River Cruises to ensure the smooth operation, navigation, maintenance and safety of our ships. Your expertise will be vital to creating a secure and unforgettable experience for our guests. In our nautical team we offer roles like Captain and Sailor, while in our Technical team among others, we have engineering jobs.
