Night Manager | Local Residents

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as Night Manager responsible for the overall management of resort operations during night hours, ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational continuity, staff supervision, financial control, and safety in line with TUI BLUE standards and Zanzibar labour legislation.

This role is local position based at the TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar, Pwani, Mchangani, Tanzania and open Tanzanian nationals only.

ABOUT THE JOB 

• Act as the most senior management representative on duty during the night shift
• Oversee all operations including Front Office, Security, Housekeeping (night operations), and Engineering on call
• Ensure VIP guest handling, service recovery, and complaint resolution at management level.
• Conduct full night audit reports and procedures and reconcile all revenues and operational logs
• Ensure strict compliance with financial controls, SOPs, and Prepare daily financial, occupancy, and management reports
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and security matters, coordinating with relevant authorities when required
• Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are fully enforced during night hours
• Prepare comprehensive management handover reports for the morning Executive Team.

ABOUT YOU 

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Night Manager or Senior Front Office agent 4–5-star hotel.
• Fluent in English and the local language; confident communicating with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel accounting principles
• Strong operational, financial, and people management skills
• Proficiency in, ALICE, OPERA and MS Office, night audit processes, and hotel reporting systems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including dealing with external partners and authorities professionally.
