How we hire
Everything you need to know about the candidate journey at TUI
At TUI we want to make your journey as a candidate as simple and transparent as we possibly can. We truly believe that your application to join TUI should be as exciting as going on holiday. Using the boxes below we have explained what you can expect from your application process. If you have any questions get in touch with the relevant contact associated with the job you are interested in. We cannot wait to meet you.
1. Application
Your application will be received by our central candidate experience team who will screen your CV against a list of standard requirements for the job role you have applied for. If successful you will be progressed to the next stage.
2. Digital Assessment
If successful at application stage you will be invited to take part in our digital assessment team. This can include multiple elements depending on the job role you have applied for, including situational judgement tests, language tests and more.
3. Interview
If you successfully complete and pass the digital assessment stage you will be invited to a virtual interview with our assessment team. You will be presented with multiple options to book the best slot for you. This is the stage where you will get to meet us and us meet you. It is also the final stage of the application process.
4. Placement
Congratulations, you are now selected to work in our holiday destinations. If you are moving onto one of our work abroad contracts the placement team will, based on your profile, place you in a suitable destination and communicate this to you at the earliest possible opportunity. Please note during busy recruitment periods this can take some time. Please do not worry, we will be in touch.
5. Written Offer
Once your placement has been accepted, or if you are one of our new local to the holiday destination colleagues, you will receive a written offer from the HR team that represents the destination you are located in. This will detail the terms and conditions of your offer of employment.
6. Start in Destination
All set, you are ready to start in your destination! If you are local you will be communicated your start date and working pattern by the local management team. If you are moving to a destination from your home country, the local team will be in touch to organise all your travel and your start date with the company. We wish you the best of luck and an exciting season with us at TUI.
