Product Owner Dynamic Accommodation Sourcing (f/m/d)

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Product Owner (f/m/d) to join our Dynamic Accommodation Sourcing team as part of the Business Development Dynamic remit.

The Product Owner will own a set of engagements with various IT and business teams and will be responsible for the execution of priorities to drive the development of capabilities and the integration of dynamic suppliers. You will work closely with the Dynamic Accommodation Sourcing Lead and the Technology Team Leads for Dynamic Accommodation Sourcing services to translate requirements into technical deliverables. Our Product Owners will develop a passion for creating delightful, easy to use technology solutions that deliver value. They have a profound understanding of Dynamic Accommodation Sourcing (Bedbanks, Channelmanagers, Hotelchains), an understanding of Agile and good communication skills. They use these skills to engage with their stakeholders and manage their backlogs. They contribute ideas, and input into designs and roadmaps.

As a Product Owner, your key areas of responsibility and accountability will be:

ABOUT THE JOB

• Pro-active contribution to a compelling Product Vision and Strategy incorporating Markets Strategy, stakeholders’ needs, competitor activity and external best practice (Incl. risk/compliance/ security)
• Prioritize and deliver achievable backlog features for the respective products, translated from high-level dynamic accommodation roadmap and provide transparancy
• Central accountability to deliver business & customer requirements from all TUI source markets with tailor-made features, including the evaluation of requests. This includes a deep understanding of business needs from all markets
• Define and communicate the overall strategy and goals for your products to your product teams
• Define, develop and prioritize the product backlogs for your teams
• Driving feature delivery with product teams (Technology Leads, Business Analysts and Business Development Managers (SME)) also considering dependencies to other teams within Acco Sourcing and further IT domains
• Work with QA, test & release teams to ensure all features are of the highest quality and timely. 
• Define, monitor and drive high level product KPIs 
• Create informative and inspiring demos for your products to bring the features to life for stakeholders and the teams
• Manage different stakeholders in development, IT and business areas eg Lead Product Owner, Heads of Technology, Dynamic Development Managers. 
  

ABOUT YOU

• Commercial or IT education, ideally university studies
• A confident professional with an understanding of Agile, and able to manage a complex product backlog(SCRUM or other agile methods)
• Good communication skills, able to communicate the Product Strategy to the relevant Stakeholders
• Good commercial and decision-making skills, able to input into Ideation and Roadmaps.
• Able to contribute to making clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions.
• Experience in proactively identifying opportunities and problem solving
• An understanding of brilliant user experience, and an ability to deliver this whilst removing complexity
• Solid understanding of IT capabilities and TUI’s dynamic accomodation sourcing environment
• "Hands-on" mentality paired with high technical affinity and a strong analytical mindset

• Good skills in Jira ServiceDesk, Jira, Confluence and associated/similar tools as well as standard Microsoft Office tools

• Exceptional commitment and reliability, flexibility and ability to work under pressure

• Excellent organizational skills as well as a structured and prioritized approach to work

• The role requires fluent English
