Alex Wagstaff
Travel Advisor, TUI Retail UK
What I love most about working in TUI Retail in the UK is the endless opportunity to grow, from building my destination knowledge to developing leadership skills, there’s always something new to learn. No two days are ever the same, and it’s exciting to be part of a team that’s passionate about creating unforgettable experiences. I’ve been lucky to take part in everything from content creation to internal training films, which has really helped me grow personally and professionally. TUI truly supports you to be yourself, keep developing, and enjoy the journey.
Miranda Simms
Wellbeing & Inclusion Lead, TUI UK
At TUI UK, you’re encouraged to bring your whole self to work – and that’s exactly what makes it so special. Over nearly 16 years, I’ve had the chance to grow, try new things, and build a career I love, all while being supported by an incredible community. Whether it’s the flexibility, the travel perks, or the genuine investment in wellbeing, it’s clear TUI really cares about its people. If you’re looking for a place where you can thrive and be yourself, this is it.
From a minimum of 22 days holiday and a company pension, to enhanced family leave and exclusive discounts on everyday shopping, we’ve got you covered. And of course, as a travel company, you’ll also enjoy access to special holiday concessions, colleague offers, and savings for your family and friends – because we think everyone deserves a little adventure.
At TUI, we love bringing people together – whether it’s for wellbeing days, charity fundraisers, seasonal celebrations or just a moment to connect and unwind. Across the UK, you’ll find everything from pop-up stands and learning sessions in our offices, to team socials and interactive events that put a smile on your face.
We hold regular Town Halls where our senior leaders share business updates, new product and season launches and stories that inspire. You’ll also find exciting moments tied to our sponsorships – like our recent takeover of Kenilworth Road, home of Luton Town FC, where more than 700 colleagues joined in the fun. We also love to give our colleagues opportunities to experience our products, and have fun competitions for all to enter.
And with over 15 colleague-led networks to get involved in – from sustainability and sport to wellbeing and belonging – there’s always something happening and always a place to get involved. We'll keep this space updated with the latest highlights, so check back in to see what we’ve been up to!
In May, we took over Kenilworth Road for the second year running, and what a day it was! This was all part of our partnership with Luton Town Football Club, which is where the home of our Head Office in the UK is.
From morning matches with local primary schools to an afternoon of friendly competition, inflatable games and pitch-side fun, we brought together our people, their families, and our local community in true TUI style. Over 140 children kicked off the day with an exciting six-a-side tournament (plus some very competitive teacher penalties!), while colleagues from across the business laced up for our five-a-side cup.
Events like this show how we’re more than a travel company. We’re a team that shows up for each other, celebrates together, and brings a bit of fun wherever we go.
In June, we hit pause to focus on what really matters - our people. Our Wellbeing Day was all about taking a moment to reflect, connect and recharge together. From a special Town Hall and live Q&A with senior leaders to inspiring pop-up stands and relaxing wellness activities, there was plenty going on to support both mind and body.
Colleagues took part in yoga, massages, health checks and meaningful conversations, plus a spotlight on gratitude and the positive power of saying thank you. We also heard from a brilliant panel of colleagues who shared their personal wellbeing journeys and highlighted the amazing work of our employee networks.
