The Regional Security Risk Assessor role sits within Group Security and works closely with other Group functions: Health & Safety and Crisis known collectively as SHSC.

SHSC supports the security and safety of over 60,000 colleagues based in over 100 countries as well as our millions of customers. Utilising intelligence, you will follow TUI’s approach to risk mitigation, which is proportionate, proactive and when needed, reactive to meet the needs of the various business entities. 

 

In accordance with TUI Group standards and methodologies, you will be accountable for conducting security risk assessments across the business, including but not limited to Hotels, Excursions, Activities, and Transport across TUI’s own brands and setting the industry standard for our partners. 

 

This is a 12 month fixed term hybrid role that will require national and international travel and can be based from either Egypt, Morocco or Tunisia.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • You will conduct in-person security risk assessments across the business entities utilising intelligence. You will ensure that every assessment is conducted in line with TUI’s standards, definitions and risk appetite. 
  • Post assessment, you will work with stakeholders to support the implementation of proportionate control measures as necessary such as physical security controls, policies/ procedures and training as identified in the risk assessment in order of priority.
  • You will review documentation to ensure that effective procedures are in place and recorded, to mitigate risk and/or to respond to incidents should they occur. If required, you will aid the documentation of such procedures, in line with TUI’s standards ensuring they are proportionate and appropriate as identified by the risk assessment. 
  • Where a training need is identified, you will signpost to internal or external training materials or deliver in person training as necessary. 
  • You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to assist in achieving this aim, supporting each unit through the entire cycle of risk management.

ABOUT YOU

 

  • Formal qualification in risk management (CSMP, SRMC) or equivalent.
  • Formal training qualification desirable.
  • IT literate with a minimum of GCSE education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 31000.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills in local language and English.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Experience in the travel and tourism industry desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize intelligence, history, incidents and own knowledge to make decisions in line with TUI’s standards.
  • Able and willing to travel (This role requires national and international travel)
  • Legal right to work (or ability to gain visas) across North Africa with no restriction on travel
