People travel to escape their everyday life; to come back relaxed and recharged. At TUI, our guests’ health and safety is of the utmost importance to us and equally, it is the same for our employees. Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable at their workplace and to enjoy sustainable health – physically as well as mentally. Health management at TUI is provided throughout the organisation to the highest standards. We consult on health & safety topics, provide support in challenging situations, implement preventative measures and other health-related services.

Training & Support

All employees receive health & safety training relevant to their role. In addition, there are various mind and body programmes, depending on where you work, these may include:

  • nutrition counselling
  • flu vaccinations
  • health check ups/eye tests
  • gyms and fitness classes
  • workshops & online courses (Mental Health, Mindfulness)
  • advice helplines


Many of our teams run together, participating in Marathons, running clubs and just for fun! The B2Run in Hanover, Stockholm and Copenhagen saw over 500 colleagues taking part, running alongside 11500 participants from 530 companies.

This year, many teams have completed virtual missions and our current challenge is to walk round the world together, about 40000 kilometres. After a long day of work and obligations at home, it can be difficult to find the motivation, we are challenging our teams to commit to 7500 steps per day during March. Why don’t you join us?

Wellbeing Weeks

Our TUI Wellbeing Weeks are a time to focus together on wellbeing, a sustainable lifestyle, safety at work and diversity. Our colleagues have taken part in more than 40 different activities, from daily challenges like “Take the stairs instead of the lift!” or “Drink at least 2 litres of water!”, to fresh and healthy smoothies in the canteen, stress reduction training, burnout prevention, workshops about nutrition, sleep, unconscious bias, try out sports groups and much more.

During recent times, our focus has been to support employees who are impacted by the pandemic – whether working from home, have new work arrangements and general wellbeing assistance.
