ABOUT THE JOB

• You will take on audit assignments with a focus on Business Assurance, covering all operational processes, not just finance. Our engagements are customer-oriented, meaning that in addition to pure assurance, advisory services may also be required.You will identify and assess significant risks and develop measures for risk mitigation, considering the commercial and organizational impacts on the TUI Group. During assignments, you will be the primary contact, keeping various stakeholders informed and managing the engagement largely independently.

• You will self-organize your development in areas such as Project & Transformational Assurance, ESG, and internal control systems, acquiring ad-hoc knowledge on new topics during audits.

• You will assist us in continuously improving our own processes, for example, by utilizing agile methods or implementing AI.

• You are willing to travel for business, typically for a few days, with a maximum duration of two weeks.

ABOUT YOU 

• You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and ideally relevant certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or an interest in obtaining them.

• You bring at least 3-5 years of experience in audit or assurance and have knowledge in finance controls, internal control systems, project assurance, or ESG-related audit topics.

• You are characterized by analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities. You are eager to continuously learn new requirements and apply your skills in an international and intercultural environment.

• Ideally, you have a good understanding of the travel industry and current market trends, and you are familiar with stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you are proficient in using MS Office 365 applications, AI, and possibly data analytics tools.

• You are fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

ZUR POSITION

• Du übernimmst Prüfungsaufträge mit Schwerpunkt Business Assurance, die alle betrieblichen Prozesse umfassen, nicht nur Finanzen. Unsere Einsätze sind kundenorientiert, so dass neben der reinen Assurance auch Beratungsleistungen erforderlich sein können.

• Du identifizierst und bewertest wesentliche Risiken und entwickelst Maßnahmen zur Risikominderung, wobei du kommerzielle und organisatorische Auswirkungen auf die TUI berücksichtigst. Bei den Einsätzen bist du der erste Ansprechpartner, informierst die verschiedenen Stakeholder und steuerst den Einsatz weitestgehend eigenverantwortlich.

• Du bildest dich selbstorganisiert in Bereichen wie Project & Transformational Assurance, ESG und internen Kontrollsystemen weiter und eignest dir ad-hoc Wissen zu neuen Sachverhalten während der Prüfungen an.

• Du unterstützt uns bei der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer eigenen Prozesse, z.B. durch die Nutzung von agilen Methoden oder den Einsatz von KI. 

• Du bist bereit, Dienstreisen zu unternehmen, die in der Regel wenige Tage, maximal zwei Wochen dauern.

ZU DIR

• Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Volkswirtschaft oder in vergleichbaren Bereichen und idealerweise relevante Zertifizierungen wie Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) oder das Interesse, diese zu erwerben.

• Du bringst mindestens 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung in Audit oder Wirtschaftsprüfung mit und hast Kenntnisse in Finance Controls, Internen Kontrollsystemen, Project Assurance oder ESG-bezogenen Prüfungsthemen.

• Analytisches Denken, Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und Kommunikationsstärke zeichnen dich aus. Du bist bereit, kontinuierlich neue Anforderungen zu lernen und deine Fähigkeiten in einem internationalen und interkulturellen Umfeld einzubringen.

• Wünschenswert wäre ein gutes Verständnis der Reisebranche und aktueller Markttrends bzw. dein Interesse, dich entsprechend einzuarbeiten. Zudem bist du vertraut im Umgang mit Stakeholdern sowie versiert im Umgang mit MS Office 365-Standardanwendungen, KI und ggf. Data-Analytics Tools.

• Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch; weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil.
