Business Strategy and M&A Analyst

We're looking for a Business Strategy & M&A Analyst to join our global TUI Musement team on a maternity cover basis. You'll provide central support to all organisational areas, product verticals, and senior board members, particularly our CEO and CFO.

ABOUT THE JOB  

• You'll support our overall business strategy with market intelligence, including recurrent newsletters, ad-hoc reports, and specific segment deep-dives by screening external sources of information.
• We need you to assist in the strategic decision process, optimising our existing TUI Musement value proposition across different areas and collaborating in the 3YP process together with finance.
• Reviewing the attractiveness of new business and investment opportunities is key, both organic and through Mergers and Acquisitions, providing a deep understanding of alternatives to address them.
• Your analytical tools and Excel models will support our senior management in decision-making, created specifically for their needs.
• You'll participate in different strategic projects from a conceptual point of view or during the pilot phase through desktop research and internal data analysis, working closely with other area leads.
• Managing stakeholders at senior level and gathering data and information will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

ABOUT YOU

• You have a strong drive, are structured with problem-solving skills and possess an analytical mind.
• Proven experience in Business Strategy, M&A/Private Equity, or Consulting is preferred.
• A Master's degree or equivalent in MBA or Finance is desirable.
• Start-up, innovation, and business transformation experience would be advantageous.
• You'll need a basic financial background with understanding of the three main financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow), whilst Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other specialised certifications are desirable.
• Your excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, will help you thrive in this role.
