Port Delivery Team Manager

Join our Customer Operations Team in Port Canaveral, FL as a Port Delivery Team Manager. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless Port Operations, including Turnaround and Shorex services. You'll be responsible for overseeing service delivery, managing staff, and coordinating all related logistics to guarantee a smooth and efficient operation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll lead and manage a team of direct reports to ensure efficient and effective port operations, with a focus on smooth collaboration and coordination across teams.
  • Ensuring the appropriate level of staffing and resources to meet the specific needs of each operation will be key to your success.
  • Maintaining clear and continuous communication with cruise ships, internal teams, external stakeholders, and Port Authorities will help facilitate seamless operations.
  • You'll oversee and manage any operational incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
  • Handling last-minute operational changes at the pier will be part of your day-to-day, ensuring that suppliers are promptly informed and prepared.

ABOUT YOU

  • You've got proven experience leading a team to achieve results.
  • You're comfortable driving change and adaptable to ambiguity or setbacks.
  • You must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid TWIC card.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required is essential.
  • Your strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to improving processes and embracing digital solutions will set you apart.
  • Managing multiple strategic priorities while overseeing daily logistics comes naturally to you.
  • A friendly, flexible, and professional demeanor is part of who you are.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must; fluency in a local language is a plus.
  • You hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Proven experience in cruise lines port operations is essential.
